Anti-theft nut
GB/T 6170-2000 Rolling ball Anti-theft (security) nut
Hot-dip galvanized rolling ball anti-theft (security) nuts are widely used in national power towers and signal towers, which are easy to operate and have strong anti-theft effects. The anti-theft nut is the latest type of product with excellent security performance in the 21st century, which is mostly used to prevent mechanical component fastening parts from loosening or being stolen.
Types of hot-dip galvanized rolling ball anti-theft (security) nut: Single-ball security nut and Double-ball security nut.
Grade: 4 Grade and 6 Grade.
Material: Q195 and 10B21.
Single-ball security nuts require reprocessed after cold heading. Double-ball security nuts are cold heading molding with no need for reprocessing. The surface of the rolling ball anti-theft (security) nuts is hot-dip galvanized. The internal thread's cross-section is arc-shaped, it has two blind-end slots, and its radial depth reverse thread steering grows progressively. In addition, the blind-end slots have two balls installed in them along with a unique plastic bushing and plastic gasket to allow the balls to move freely. The ball glides down the blind end of the slot's arc as the nut is tightened clockwise, and the nut's plastic inner bushing falls out of place on its own. The ball has an anti-theft role when it gets stuck in the thread and cannot be removed when the nut is loosened counterclockwise because of the gradual reduction of the radial size of the slot with blind end.
